Extensive refit. Haul ship, clean, survey & repaint bottom. Access hole cut in starboard side to facilitate engineering work. Starboard main engine, main alternators, night alternator and emergency generator work as listed above. Propeller, shaft windlass, starboard deck crane & ground tackle work as listed above. Remove all 4 stabilizers & shafts, rebuild as necessary. Install engine room fixed NOVAC system. Various pipe work and hull plating replaced as necessary. Inspected and cleaned tanks. All 6 large 220 Vdc pump motors removed, serviced & repaired at shore side facility. Complete repaint of topsides (Awlgrip). Complete repaint of Owner & boat deck accommodations, heli-deck and foredeck (Awlgrip). Extensive varnish work. New sun lounge lights added. During the current period of ownership, from December of 2000 until today, no expense has been spared in bringing Itasca up to A1 "yacht" condition and maintaining it as such. Over a 4 ˝ year time span, two major refits and two minor refits have been completed as well as a full inventory of spares assembled onboard.
